If you’ve been up by the Boston’s Museum of Science this week, you would have noticed a new addition to the big T-Rex standing outside – just like pretty much everyone else these days, the dinosaur is now sporting an huge face mask.
The dinosaur mask – which is nearly 5 ft wide – took staff around 10 hours to make and was added to signal that Museum’s preparations for re-opening are underway, as part of Massachusetts’ re-opening plans.
The opening of Museums are in “Phase Three” of the state’s post-COVID reopening plan.
Although there aren’t any fixed dates in place just yet for the roll-out of this phase, it’s expected to happen fairly soon, with Museums being back open for business over the summer.
