LEGO has revealed their lineup for this year’s Jurassic World sets – a lineup that includes four different sets, as rumored early last month.
The new sets feature figures of Baryonyx, Carnotaurus, and Stygimoloch, along with a T-Rex dinosaur fossil, which will, of course, look familiar to anyone who picked up 2019’s popular LEGO Ideas Dinosaur Fossils 21320 set.
The sets are inspired by the hit Netflix animated series Jurassic World Camp Cretaceous, which recently saw the release of its third season, and features minifigures of your favorite characters from the hit series, including Ben, Darius, and Kenji, among others.
Given the success of the series and the delay to the release of the next Jurassic World movie – Jurassic World Dominion – which was pushed back to 2022 due to the Covid-19 pandemic, it’s not surprising that all of these sets are based on the Netflix hit show.

Table of Contents
76939 Stygimoloch Dinosaur Escape (129 pieces) – $39.99
First up is the best pick for younger kids, being recommended for ages four years and up. In the set, there’s a Stygimoloch figure and Bumpy the baby Ankylosaurus – in addition to the figures, you’ll also find an off-roader, removable dino cage a treehouse with a slide. There are also three minifigures in this set – Ben, Brooklyn, and Claire Dearing.

76940 T. rex Dinosaur Fossil Exhibition (198 pieces) – $29.99
This next new set for this year has clearly been inspired by the wildly popular LEGO Ideas Dinosaur Fossils 21320, featuring a T-Rex skeleton model. This set only has two minifigures – Owen Grady and Darius – and includes a display stand, drawing board, pointing stick, and baby triceratops figures, which combine to offer plenty of options for play.

76941 Carnotaurus Dinosaur Chase (240 pieces) – $49.99
The next set features a Caranotaurus figure, along with a pair of buildable vehicles – a truck and a helicopter, both of which can accommodate minifigures in their cabin and cockpit. The helicopter also features a spinning propeller and stud shooter, perfect for action play. There are also 3 minifigures in the set – Kenji, Sammy, and Owen Grady – along with a range of other accessories.

76942 Baryonyx Dinosaur Boat Escape (308 pieces) – $79.99
This set is the first from the LEGO Jurassic World line to feature multiple boats – including one that is fully buildable and actually floats, making it a suitable set for water play. The boat also features a dinosaur cage, rotating searchlight, and a control room – the latter is detachable, giving easy access to the boat’s cargo hold.
In addition to the boat – this set includes 2x fish figures, 4 minifigures (Darius, Guard, Yaz, and Owen Grady), a baby dino, and a Baryonyx figure, along with a range of accessories, including a taser, tranquilizer, dino eggs, and life jacket, among others.
Each of the new Jurassic World Lego sets will be released on 1st September 2021 and will be available to purchase from most major retailers.
