For anyone in the mood for a bit of creative, dino-themed brick-building fun, the team over at LEGO has an activity that will be right up your alley, with the theme of their latest activity – dinosaurs.
The contest is looking for submissions to be as creative as possible, with no rules restricting you to realistic dino set ideas. Dinosaur mechs, robot dinosaurs – or even entirely new and unique dino creations you can dream up are all welcomed. We, for one, can’t wait to see what the LEGO fan community comes up with!
While there haven’t been enough LEGO dinosaurs in the Ideas series for our liking so far – there could never be enough – there was 2019’s excellent and soon-to-retire LEGO Ideas Dinosaur Fossils (21320) set. This set based on the Dinosaurs Fossils Skeletons – Natural History Collection idea submitted by user Mukkinn, which in our view is one of the best dinosaur toys around.
Like with all LEGO ideas contests, there are no prizes for the winner – except, of course, the sense of achievement if your concept is lucky enough to be picked out and (maybe) turned into a set.
If you want to get involved, you’ve got until April 27th to get your dino-themed entries in. For inspiration, head on over to the Ideas activity page to check out the concepts submitted so far.
