If you’re looking for something to do this Labor Day Weekend with your dinosaur-obsessed toddler, head on down to the DuPage Country Fairgrounds, located in Wheaton, IL.
The event, which runs over the next two days, sees the fairgrounds transformed into Jurassic Park, home to 80 life-size dinosaur models. All your favorite dinosaurs are here, like Velociraptor and Triceratops. However, the main attractions are impressive Brachiosaurus and T-Rex models, standing at a whopping 30 and 40 feet.
For those unfamiliar with Dinosaur Adventure, the event is a drive-thru and includes a downloadable audio tour. It takes around 45 minutes to complete a drive-through.
In addition to its models, the event also features mascot Dot – a baby dinosaur – who will come out to greet patrons in their cars. There is also an exclusive dinosaur toy pack that can be purchased at the event, giving your little one plenty to do both throughout the day and back at home.
If you can’t make it out to Wheaton, IL, the next stop of the touring event will be in Milwaukee, giving you another chance to visit.
