About
Dinosaur Addicts is a site for all-things dinosaurs. We write about everything from dinosaur facts and our current understanding to dinosaur product reviews, buying guides, along with various maker topics, including Arduino, 3D printing, and so on.
There is a wealth of content specific for kids, with free dinosaur coloring pages, simple explanations and descriptions of dinosaurs written for children, and reviews of products specifically for children, such as dinosaur toys, dinosaur clothing, and dinosaur accessories around the home.

Why we started Dinosaur Addicts
Dinosaur Addicts was setup to help me spread my interest in and love for all-things dinosaurs with my kids, which is why so much of our content is around dinosaur kids product guides and parenting articles – but you have to start somewhere I suppose.
Like most, I first became interested in dinosaurs as a kid, although it wasn’t until I became a parent that I began to rekindle this interest. This happened once my first child was old enough to appreciate and start building her own love of these awesome prehistoric creatures.
Since then, we’ve been to various natural history museums, built dinosaur brick sets, and tinkered with dinosaur robots together – it’s been a real blast, and I’m hopeful that she too will end up with the dinosaur bug. And who knows, perhaps she’ll follow through into adulthood, becoming a paleontologist (fingers crossed!).
Why were different
If you’ve spent time on my website, you’ll know that I’m a huge fan of coding, gaming, programming, making, and robotics. I try to incorporate these interests as much as possible into the site, frequently posting content about these topics, merging these the best I can with dinosaurs.
This not only provides me with a wide range of topics to cover, it also provides the perfect excuse to muck about with various projects and man-toys, like my 3D printer, growing dinosaur LEGO collection, or the draw full of Arduino boards and components in my office – all things that I love nothing more than doing during my evenings and weekend.
I try to come at these topics as a beginner – or even for kids – as I hope to pass these interests on to my own children. So, if you’ve got a passing interest on any of these topics but have never really taken the plunge to give any of these hobbies ago (as I was, until recently) – then my blog should be right up your street.
This focus on topic that aren’t strictly dinosaur-related is something that sets us apart from other dinosaur sites on the internet, offering something different and unique, while still satisfying that thirst for daily dinosaur content.
How we review products
A large chunk of the content on this website is devoted to product reviews and buying guides, bringing together the very best in dinosaur-themed products across a vast and varied spectrum of different product types.
We aim to be as unbiased as possible – providing our genuine view and opinions on the various products that we review. You’ll see that in the hands-on reviews that we publish to our blog, providing a fairly in-depth overview of not just the products themselves, but also the experience we had with them.
That said, it’s not always possible for us to physically try out all of the products that make it to our site. In these instances, we spend plenty of time researching the opinions of others, working to provide a summary of the pros and cons of any product, shared by the people who’ve bought it.
We can’t always be right either. If you spot any errors in any of the hands-on dinosaur product reviews that we’ve published, or just want to share your own opinions, we’re always receptive to readers who take the time to reach out to us.
